Collarsup.com is back again with another hilarious and completly improvised short film.
This one is called BABY SAYS.
We've been holding off releasing this one until castmember Marci Clark had her baby, and on June 18th 2008 she did. Both baby and Momma are doing great.
So without further adieu...
BABY SAYS
Move over, baby sign language, because there's a new baby fad in town -- communication via the womb.
A fetus communicates at a party...from beyond the birth.

The hardcore fans know this scene as APARTMENT, but from this day forth it will be forever known as SUB-PRIME. This scene originally debuted in our second sketch revue BE ALL THAT YOU CAN BUY, and the casting was a little different. Well, BECCA and LAUREN both played the same characters in the stage show, but WILL played the guy role, and in this one JERRY takes the reins and nails it.
This was made for our TVLAND pilot.
In the house hunt? Your finances may be fine, but is your marriage triple-A rated?

Huh? What?
Did you know that there is a giant IKEA super-store that's about to open in Red Hook, Brooklyn? Well, the COLLARSUP.COM team did and they/we made a protest film about it.
Here's the IKEA commercial alerting the public to this behemoth of commerce. Like we can't already see it from space.
Team CollarsUp, including ROYAL WE members BECCA GREENE and WILL NUNZIATA, along with some special guest stars including the WE's own JERRY MILLER, spent an afternoon in front of the huge blue and yellow facade of IKEA and staged a protest. Only in this world de la CollarsUp, the protestors don't win, instead they get slowly picked apart by the quick thinking brains of the top IKEA brass.
Expect silly placards, ridiculous chants, cops, alledged rape, full frontal male nudity, dolphins, meatballs and more in this hilarious, completly improvised short film called IKEA PROTEST.
Enjoy!

ps: FUN SIDE NOTE: BECCA was ridiculously sick with food poisoning for the entire shoot. So sick she had a stand-in at times. Can you spot the stand-in?
"DNCHRD veteran Becca Greene is the YELLOW team leader for DNCHRD IV.
Becca will lead her golden-clad posse through dance moves such as the banana split and corn-on-the-cob (where everything slides around like butter) as they compete against 5 other color-coded dance crews at LVHRD’s fourth Dance Hard.
We’ve got 75 tickets available for Team YELLOW, so if you’re down with Becca and the feeling of sunshine on your shoulders, buy a YELLOW ticket today, put together a YELLOW dance outfit and practice with your crew before DNCHRD IV on May 20."
Confused? go to LVHRD.ORG and try to figure it all out.

Did you know everyones favortite sketch comedy group, THE ROYAL WE, were reviewed in an actual book? Well, we were!
After sitting on my bookshelf for a couple years, I finally dusted off my copy of "New York Stages" by Michael D. Jackson and got hold of a scanner so the world can finally see the book I push on everyone that enters my home.
Why are WE in a book?
Because we are awesome.
This book is a journal of NYC theater that Mr. Michael D. Jackson over a couple years. Everything from Broadway and Off-Broadway to Off-Off-Off-Off-Off Broadway and ROYAL WE shows were chronicled and reviewed. From Broadways "Annie Get Your Gun" to THE ROYAL WE's "BE ALL THAT YOU CAN BUY"...no show goes un-reviewed.
This is what Amazon.com has to say about it:
"Covering the first five years of the new millennium, New York Stages paints a vivid picture of the contemporary theatre scene in New York City. With a combination of critical reviews and anecdotal stories, this semi-autobiographical account depicts the vast scope of New York entertainment. Included are reviews of dance performances, operas, concerts, fringe theatre and Broadway. This colorful portrait compares and contrasts the golden age of Broadway to today's theatre scene, as well as leading the reader through the roller coaster experience of trying to work as a theatre artist in New York. Along the way, attention is given to several theatre artists as they work their way through the crazy world of show business-auditions, day jobs, successes and stumbling blocks. From the actress who just arrived in town to the director winning his first Tony Award, from the myriad of Off Off Broadway plays to the glory of a Broadway hit-the first five years of the new millennium are brought to life in this journal. "
Pretty cool!
Here's the link if you want to buy it, and why wouldn't you. Own a piece of history. LINK TO BUY
Here's the cover:
And here's THE ROYAL WE review:
Wow, THE ROYAL WE is in a real book with a ISBN number and everything! Now the world knows we are "a pretty humorous gang of funsters."
Enjoy,
WILL
ps: This review must have been from one of the first performances because he mentions a sketch that was only performed for a short time, The Neil Armstrong/Buzz Aldrin Tang blackouts. A series of three short scenes where these two astronauts hawk Tang to the public while ripping each other apart a la the Swift Boat ads from the Kerry campaign. A forgotten gem. A dusty relic.
