We've been tracking our own site traffic for a couple weeks, but this morning someone directed us to iFilm, where we discovered that "1984:iPod" is #15 on the Viral Video chart and #30 on the overall top 100 chart for the past 7 days - 23,000 people (and counting) have seen it there!

It's been a crazy week for The Royal We in the online universe. We put our parody of Apple's 1984 Superbowl ad (directed by Ridley Scott) online Tuesday morning, emailed it to a couple of friends, posted it on some forums, and went back to getting ready for opening night - this Saturday, 8pm, $10, tickets are going fast, so order now! - when we started getting email from people we'd never met telling us they liked our video.
After a little detective work, we discovered that we'd been picked up by some blogs and were making the rounds. Seth Godin, a best-selling marketing author, posted us on his blog, crediting the find to Tim Manners. Seth's link was credited by most subsequent blog posts as the original citation.
The other big blog post was on The Unofficial Apple Weblog. From those posts, we got a number of mentions in the U.S.: here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here and here.
We also made an impact overseas - in The Netherlands - twice, Spain, China (or is it Taiwan or Hong Kong? Sorry, I couldn't read it), Russia, Germany, Japan, Portugal and Sweden.
Pretty sweet! The response has been pretty overwhelmingly positive, which makes all this attention even nicer.
